About Us
3D4E is a multi-collegiate organization of students interested in 3D printing and its applications.
We provide 3D printing expertise & engineering resources to all UCLA and her surrounding community. We also enable you to bring your transformative ideas to life, with a little elbow grease and a helping hand! We pride ourselves on our openness, our response times, our material selections, and our printer infrastructure to make sure the only question you have about your projects will be: "How soon can I get it?"
We offer printing resources in our lab (Boelter 6514) and technical expertise with our board members! Come say hi, we always have someone between 12-5 PM. It's a space for any student to print, study or just hang out (˶ᵔヮᵔ˶)
Additionally, we:
- host weekly project hours to collaborate on multidisciplinary projects
- offer workshops on 3D modeling/printing software and skills
- host social events to encourage bonding and teamwork
- organize outreach events for local middle and high school students
- connect with companies and alumni to bring opportunities to students
